These young folk need community spaces where they can gather safety. You guys are bigots that place the symptom and not the cause, lack of community investment.

Let’s get specific. It’s not a teen problem. It’s an African American Teen problem.

Yeah. I drove by one night to verify, as I couldn’t imagine they would play till 11pm.

The number of teens was astounding, and there they were playing the hell out of pickleball. My boy just stared at me and shook his head. The shame in me was mutual

With that many females in one place, teenage me woulda never touched a paddle. I just figured they were all just hanging out.

if they had received any cuddles or love at all, they may value life. These parents have raised feral kids.

my teen is doomscrolling on her phone or on some facetime call with all her friends That is about the only issue we have going on. If more parents parented that would solve most the problems of the "teens"

I wish there wasn't so much sugar coating with this stuff. Just call it what it is: black teenage thugs. Maybe a nationwide curfew on these thugs is in order until that behavior stops?

The problem can't be adequately addressed unless and until people are willing to accurately identify the problem.

A large part of this is occurring in areas that at one time were nice areas or places where students lived. They are now becoming Section 8. If you really wanted to fight a lot of this and disperse these pockets of garbage, Sid could up the code enforcement division. Go to these properties and actively look for code violations and start fining this place. Expedite the seizure process and as soon as possible, send these up to auction. Knock the buildings down as soon as possible and tack that onto the bill.

Well, black teens are the ones who are showing up en masse causing issues. I’m not aware of white teens shooting up a mall or park lately.

But when you try to speak out against it all you get is “yall be da ones shootin up da schools” FFS

Blacks want their own schools then? I’m fine with that.

A designated conflict resolution park?

Settle your disputes over here away from everybody else.

No police will show up, and no medical care will be provided.
