I don’t think gustav knocked out as many people in total tho?

Gustav is the worst power outage event in the State's history.

I'd imagine most of BR will be restored fairly quickly based on the fact that people are already getting put back on within 24 hours. That was unheard of for Gustav. There will be isolated trouble spots that will take longer obviously.

No sir. Bluebonnet and Burbank. It used to be a Valero (same place where a bullet broke the glass about three years ago).

just got lit back up in Magnolia Woods

I’m towards the end of Mag Woods by the pool. Is Entergy working their way down Magnolia woods? My wife and I are driving back from Dallas now and last we heard we were still out

Good question. No trucks in the Acadian Thruway, Perkins area.

It looked like Entergy was working off Bluebonnet/I-10 earlier today.

Haven’t seen any trucks around Lee Hyacinth. Damage really isn’t that bad they need to hurry up get it done so we can be of better use to family/friends from elsewhere.

Went from college to o’neil on interstate an hour ago and didn’t see any entergy trucks out working. Actually saw a fair amount of trucks parked at the marriott parking lot at college.

My power went out at noon yesterday with the sun shining and winds less than 10 mph. frick Entergy. They just started trimming trees up and down Highland over the last week and a half.

Gustav thinned most of the water oaks in town, have seen relatively few downed tree pictures this time around.

Been watching the restoration map all day and very few red lines have turned green. Very few.

I didn’t see any Entergy trucks working when I drove around Magnolia Woods neighborhood this afternoon, but I did see some tree guys out there cutting trees up. Magnolia Woods Dr itself has several trees down and wires hanging low. We couldn’t even get down to the pool to check out the damage because there was a tree company truck in the way.

There has been a fleet of trucks from utilities from other states parked at the Chapel on Seigen all afternoon. A neighbor asked them about noon what they knew and they said they were “waiting on instructions”. Four hours later, and they are still parked in the same spot. Very few red lines turned green today. VERY few.

Entergy should have this down to a science by now. Baffling that their systems dont automatically dispatch crews based on where outages are present, relative to the estimated time to repair and customers affected.

Am I dreaming or is this too much to expect of them?

Jefferson Place still without power. Would be okay if the “5G” was anything near what it claims - right now I feel like I’m getting dialup speeds.

No power at my house in Southdowns, although the block on my street close to Perkins has power.

I took a drive around Southdowns and didn’t see a single Entergy repair truck. A tree fell across Lee between Hyacinth and Perkins. It was cut to clear a lane for traffic, but is still on power lines.
