Put it somewhere off of I-10 past Highland towards New Orleans.

Agreed. It would kill here.

I suggest you talk to some investors and get the money together and open one. You'd make a million dollars.

I'd love to have one, but I'm not sure it's sustainable

It's coming! Part of the B & Root deal. Book it. You think they would be sending a bunch of Houstonians here without Top Golf. They have two of em over there.

I'm sure you guys are next on the list after Vegas

It's been considered. It would not kill here. It apparently wouldn't make enough money for anyone to open one. Hence, no Top Golf in Baton Rouge.

We can't have one, because there has never been one? You're fricking smart!

some of you guys need to brush up on demographics and population density.

There are over two million people in Houston. 10 times that of Baton Rouge. And they have a lot more money than folks in Baton Rouge.

Is that really what you got from that post?

BR, Nola, and the north shore could barely support one if at all.
I've been involved in demographic studies for this and it ain't happening.

So it's only a sustainable business model in the 4th largest city in the country? I have never been to Top Golf, but I would think a smaller version of what is in Houston could work here. You would get a lot of LSU students and people from the surrounding areas of BR.

Much more than that if you include the surrounding areas(Sugarland, Katy, Spring, etc.).

Top golf is only fun for a couple of times
Then you realize it can be a pretty pricey night out and you find other things to do

I like how we have two professional sports teams yet NOLA and the Northshore can't support TopGolf...

But but but, I want a Top Golf! Just a little one! Please!?!
I'll go twice at least. I promise.

People are always complaining about how there is nothing to do in BR. This would overnight become one of the top entertainment options in the area. It would attract people who don't play real golf at all.
