Lafayette is less Racist than the BR area, IMHO.
Growing up North of Baton Rouge around Clinton, that place is 10 times more racist than Lafayette Parish.

Very interesting when you overlay that map with this demographic map.

So states with a high % of black people are racist and the rest aren't, awesome!

There are a couple of problems with these "findings" and the conslusion they came to.
1) As others have pointed out, searching for the "n-word" is not in and of itself even a racist act.
2) The whole notion of the study is based on the principle that white people are searching the words, and that makes them racist. Here' s the problem though, that completely ignores the other half of the equation- what about black-on-white racism? I guarantee you if you had a real study done on "racism" city-by-city, a place like Detroit, with it's very large and "urban" culture, would be considered MUCH more more racist, same goes for New Orleans, Atlanta, pretty much every major city with a growing black infesta... population.

The map appears to be classified by area code overlays.

analyzed Google data for searches containing the n-word and its contextual variants (like those used in music lyrics).
what if those searches were done by non white searchers?

Look at Rhode Island and New York.
Look at St. Tammany.

So Baltimore is much less racist than average.

No surprise there. Its easy when you don't have to co-exist.

BR is easily the most racist city in Southern Louisiana, but I don't think they hold a candle to the bigoted rednecks in North LA.

Wait so black people can't be racist?

Google is racist so no big deal. Go search "burglar" or "criminal" in google images....
Only white people pop up.

wait...are they inferring that use of the N-word is racism? So anyone searching any rap lyric in the past 35 years is racist? Tard map.
