Doesn’t take much effort to see an ice event is coming 5 days away, and to have a few trucks ready to salt the major roadways

Too lazy to salt the roads? Issue a curfew

I’m certainly no fan of the mayor, but I will say that she had her people out sanding bridges around the hospitals. I was surprised.

A little winter weather is a big inconvenience for a lot of people and power outages can be dangerous, but it’s not an emergency that requires her involvement.

This storm has done more damage to BR than any hurricane since Gustav.

No city around here salts highways.

And there were trucks all over EBR and East Feliciana yesterday and today spreading river sand. It’s not a bad thing to try and keep people off the road I don’t see what all the complaining is about.

And as much as I can’t stand SWB-she’s fricking Dick Cheney compared to Latoya.

It is the LP, so yes. I would have gone with, “out doing stupider shite than normal.”

It’s ok - we laugh at them for their summer heat advisories when it hits 85°

I was in BR during the last ice storm and it was no joke. We couldn't cross any bridges. I went to work at 9pm and saw 4 wrecks in 5 miles. Cars were swerving everywhere. I got really lucky to get to work and back. Just can't prepare for it..

COVID gave the government lackeys a taste of power and now they can't get enough. It will continue getting worse until we stand up and say enough.
