Plenty of non-white people have been involved in mass shootings. The Orlando guy wasn't white, the San Bernardino shooters weren't white
So two people.

George Zimmerman wasn't white
Didn't commit a mass shooting. Just murder.

I think we as a society jump to race too quickly. All policemen and women are not trained equally, come from the same background, and/or have the same stress triggers. There are other answers to why this cop fired incorrectly (if he did, the video does look bad for said cop) such as crappy training, the inability to handle stressful situations, or he made a fatal mistake. None of those explanations make this any less of a tragedy, but are just as possible a motive as just being racist.
White cops who are afraid of black men should not be policing black men.

I categorize you all to be a bunch of fart-knockers.

I disagree. Their job is dangerous, and if that means they treat me sternly, so be it.
their job is to protect and serve, not intimidate and annihilate.

Did you know more white people are killed by cops than black folks?
quote:
Not only do these figures show that, in real numbers, more whites are killed by police than blacks, but, when contrasted in proportion to the crime rates of each group, whites are in fact far more likely to be killed by police than any other race, especially when it comes to violent criminal offenses.
For example, according to the US Department of Justice (“Homicide Trends in the United States, 1980–2008“), blacks accounted for 52.5 percent of homicide offenders from 1980 to 2008, with whites 45.3 percent and “other” 2.2 percent.

But keep on spouting off in ignorance. You're definitely perpetuating stereotypes

Why is treating the general public as a threat until proven otherwise a bad way to police?
They need to due to the nature of their job. Its the same mindset for soldiers in the middle east

Oh great so now possesing weed is now reason enough to be killed. Gotcha
Yep. ANytime you see someone smoking a joint, you can shoot them
What if they found ten AK-47's, and a trunk of cocaine in the trunk? should they not mention that either since it had nothing to do with the shooting?

Fort Hood Shooter, DC Sniper.
Cops that are afraid of confrontation and cannot handle high stress situations shouldn't be policing ANYONE. I can also pull up multiple videos of white guys getting capped for idiotic reasons, most of which involving the police officer getting stressed out and a pattern of terrible decision making.
When we as a society make the argument that cops are out to kill African Americans, I think we are missing some of the bigger reasons these situations happen, such as the militarization of the police and the constantly strengthening "us vs. them" mentality.
