Like video of any other crime, we just put this crime on a pedestal, which I understand, but it's logically inconsistent IMO.

The lower the penalty, the higher the demand, and the more kids get raped to satisfy that demand. I got no problem with these laws.

And how do you know he wasn't set up? There is software that can download anything to your computer and leave an.electronic paper trail. See wikileaks vault 7 cia computer hacking programs

I don't know to what degree things are done, but I would image the investigation involves more than someone turning on his computer and looking at his hard drive, seeing one picture and saying "Yeap! He is a pedophile!".

They check dig into it pretty good, I would imagine.

The material came from either him searching it, someone emailing it to him or him taking pictures and putting them on his hard drive.

The software doesn't add to your search history. They would have to be absolutely sure in order to make a case and if there is a slight chance that someone else planted kiddie porn on his computer then we wouldn't be reading about his going to jail.

There’s a pretty big difference between videos of “hot teen girl” porn on mainstream sites and actual kid porn. I have never stumbled on something that I thought could be illegal.

LINK

I worked with Victor, and thought he was a decent guy. When he first got arrested, many people thought it was a setup. Until I read the warrant. Link’s above; but, needless to say, it’s very disturbing. When I read it, all doubts vanished.

The idea that a lawyer of all people would be ‘set-up’ and convicted or admit guilt for child porn that was not their own is pretty ridiculous. This guy isn’t making a murderer low IQ. The feds generally wait to arrest you until they have enough evidence to lock you up for a long time.

Dude, the people that go to jail for shite like this don’t have just a couple of pics or a few visits to illegal places online
This guy wasn’t set up, but Chris “Birdman” Anderson was set up in one of the most bizarre stories I’ve ever read. He had to miss a playoff game to clear it up. LINK

The guy is sick and an idiot. If I remember correctly, his profile on his law firm said he specializes in internet crimes.

Yep, I second that. But when the news originally broke, a lot of people that knew him were shocked. He hid it well. When I read the arrest affidavit, I knew it was true.

Also, that case you posted earlier was his custody case.

I warned you. How do you think the cops feel that monitor these posts on the regular feel? It’s just disturbing and immoral.

The arrest warrant is gross and the messages sound just like him. I knew it was true when I read it. His wife and kids must be in shock.
