Cop criticizer here. I actually don't think they factor into pension calculations. I don't know that for sure, though.

Well, frick me. That's straight up outrageous. State government doesn't do that for regular employees so I figured city-parish didn't either. There's always different rules for special people like politicians and cops, though.

Does anyone think 2,600 hours of overtime is possible?

I wonder if he had a lot of sick and annual leave built up and used that to cover his regular time and then milked the federal grants for overtime. Even still those numbers are jaw-dropping.

Cops ok but fireman hahahaha. We haven't had a single raise in over 8 years. Most fireman you see in the top of the pay scale is only because they've been in the department over 40 years and thier 2 percent state increase every year has thier salary looking like alot. I've been there 17 years and make less than 60,000. I'm on the normal track going through the ranks. Most retire after 30 years some stay till they die. Which is why the high salaries. Now you know the facts, try asking next time before you pop off at the mouth arse wipe.

That all depends Speedy. Have you slept more than 5 in a day, had a day off or made less than the Mayor? If yes, then it isn't your fault. But you have to admit that Corey's gaming of the system raises questions.
