Stopped short of naming her though. Hopefully pressure can be applied to have her step down or be forced out. there needs to be blowback to people who flame these items.

don't know why but the Jackson one I'm having trouble shaking. Not that he deserves more recognition than any of the officers, but that picture of him with his son was the first name we saw associated with it all yesterday. The whole thing just fricking sucks...just pissed off with nothing to do with the anger.

Did they ever come out and say which BRPD officer was where? I wonder if jackson was the responder who was on the radio and first on scene and got wounded.
That press conference was more of the more intense thing's I've watched live. What's sad is that its the 2nd time in two weeks I've thought that after Dallas. I hope this stuff brings more attention to the needs of officers. We need to raise their pay, we need more of them, and the more we get the more support they need.

The theory, which has not been confirmed, is that Brad Garafola was the one to call in "shots fired" since it was specified that a city officer was down. Don't think that a city officer would make that distinction unless it was a sheriff officer that was down. He also seemed to have time to call in once he took cover behind the dumpster.

Exactly. You can actually hear him say "I'm back here with two city officers" before he starts screaming "shots fired officer down.". Makes sense because all three were behind the beauty supply building before the two officers were shot while walking back around the side of the building.
