Light him up.
Getting real sick of other Americans travelling abroad and thinking they are above another country's laws. Maybe this will be a wake-up call.
I don't have a problem with the weed itself, but I sure as shite ain't about to travel anywhere near SE Asia with it.

You still talking about weed edibles??
You sure you haven't been smoking?

I thought the title was an exaggeration.
Yikes. Note to self, never ever do drugs in Indonesia.

Indonesia's strict drug laws have Shaw potentially facing a life sentence and even the death penalty if he's found guilty. Convicted smugglers have been executed by firing squad in the past.

The arrogance of some foreigners, thinking they can come to America and do whatever they want...

They executed some Aussies awhile back for something similar,
Those guys were busted smuggling 18 pounds of heroin. Not really similar.

He's a retard.
But, they won't kill him.
He's an American and that matters.
Were he Filipino, or Malaysian something like that they'd possibly kill him.

What a stupid fricker. These shite hole countries don't screw around with this stuff. I think execution is too harsh, but prison time would make a point.

I think if the punishment for the crime is execution and he's convicted, carrying out the sentence would make an even stronger point

He's gotta make money somehow. He sure isn't doing that playing in the Indonesian basketball league.

According to this report, the penalties have a crazy range, anywhere from 1 year in prison …to life in prison …to the death penalty:

at some point when you travel abroad you have to look up local laws and don't violate them.
In Indonesia you get a black visa stamped in your passport. Right below it, in bright red letters it says that trafficking of illegal drugs carries the death penalty in Indonesia. On the way to Jakarta it says it in 6' letters on the prison wall when you pass.
What we have here is a volunteer. He was told multiple times what would happen, then volunteered to join the firing squad.

He is in the Indonesian basketball league. He works there. It's not like he was a tourist.
