You can get a little bit killed off campus there. You can get a lot killed about half a mile down West Woodrow Wilson.

Hmmm.

I can’t imagine why Milsaps has such a great MD emergency room internship.

How do they get such great OTJ training? Lucky stiffs.

Well Mississippi has much more natural beauty than Louisiana, and there is nowhere on the planet that has a trashier or more obnoxious population than Louisiana... So yeah, I think you're onto something here. Louisiana is the unwashed taint of the Western Hemisphere.

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that most people in Ms are good Christian folk while most people in La are catholics.

It seems like Mississippi is always getting shite on but I've spent the last couple days in Ms and La for work and Mississippi is by far the nicer state. Nicer homes, fewer smokers and bikers, and just less trashiness in general. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that most people in Ms are good Christian folk while most people in La are catholics. Just different cultures.

Pathetic. But I expect nothing less from you.

Both states are poor and mostly ignorant.
One state has New Orleans, though, so LA wins by a landslide.

And yet Louisianans can't quit thinking and talking about Alabama. Weird, huh?

Moved from BR to Jackson almost 20 years ago and you have the good and the bad. Traffic is much better and crime is a little bit lower. City Government wise BR had Jackson while you had Kip but now we are even at best with Jackson taking a slight edge with Choke me harder Lumumba.

As mentioned Madison and Rankin Counties are nice but NE Jackson is still a good area. And as mentioned several $1M plus houses. I think the highest available on the market right now is only $4.5 M and that's because it hasn't been updated in 30 years. In 20 - 30 years Jackson will be a Detroit but it still has some things going for it.
