Based on what I've seen the past couple days, Mississippi>Louisiana

It seems like Mississippi is always getting shite on but I've spent the last couple days in Ms and La for work and Mississippi is by far the nicer state. Nicer homes, fewer smokers and bikers, and just less trashiness in general. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that most people in Ms are good Christian folk while most people in La are catholics. Just different cultures.

Seems pretty straightforward to me. That settles it then.

Perhaps not yet but it’s definitely on its way to becoming better. Mississippi is doing things to attract business. Nissan has that gigantic plant just north of Jackson, and Madison is nicer than any town in Louisiana. Their beaches are nicer and the low cost of living makes them attractive.
Louisiana needs to get its shite together and soon or we’ll be the laughing stock in 25 years instead of Mississippi. Arkansas, and Alabama have already surpassed us and Mississippi is well on their way.

I mean I’m from Mississippi and if you are comparing Madison, Oxford, Tupelo or DeSoto to Louisiana you have a point.
But Jackson is a shithole, the Delta is only good for hunting and catfish and SW Mississippi is as bad as Somolia.
Madison is one of the 10 nicest suburbs in the South. It’s surrounded by shite though.
