Thought some stuff was definitely not meeting its mark. They were saying sold, but have to think a lot wasn't hitting the reserve.
If it was then some people got some pretty solid deals.

I don't think anything I saw go across the block was top tier, but a couple if those Defenders went for well below what they could/should have.
Did the Dodge ride along thing. Learned a few things for next time I head up to BR for my street stuntin'

Noticed that last year in Scottsdale (early week)...
Some were just plain ol' used cars with some clear sprayed in the engine bay and some Armor All on the dash.

Love that XKE. Surprised the owner didn’t go to BaT with it, would probably get more.
Also, the new MC20 is gorgeous. Hope it’s successful for Maserati.

Good to see that guy from Hoovie's Farm doing so well for himself
I saw EuroAsian Bob was who bought the Nissan Bushmaster conversion. That thing was cool.

My father and his associate has gone several times buying and selling and said all the "deals" are to be had earlier in the week.

I still say any of you baws with deep enough pockets should be buying every classic Corvette survivor (or close to survivor) you can find and stashing them away. With every auction that comes it seems that you see more and more classic "resto-mod" Corvettes. The number of original cars to be had will continue to fall off a cliff.

63 split window specifically but it's more of a preserving thing because the customs go for more

Then you’d have a bunch of shitty cars. American sports cars are a joke.

I'll hit these type shows every now and then in Houston. They have way more to them than what you see on TV or is listed. Always interesting and fun to me but I love cars.

I mean you're completely wrong but whatever. Classic cars, specifically corvettes, have been one of the best investments in the last 20 years

Don't you drive a leaky old 3 series? Or am I thinking of someone else...

Not arguing whether other people love them, and pay for them…they just poor style and clunky big to me.
I expect to see a few amazing cars, out of the thousands, at Cruising this week. Looking forward to it…outside of me having to walk from home to get down there.
