Bryan from the Adam Carolla Podcast passed away on Friday. For those who do t listen w to the podcast, he’s been battling cancer for 20 years or so leaves behind a wife and daughter.

Sucks big time. I remember the episode where Bryan made it seem like his cancer had come back only to reveal his wife was pregnant.
I used to love the carolla podcast and Bald Bryan was huge part of that with his perfectly timed sound drops and his arguments with Adam. I pretty much stopped listening after Adam went solo.

Folk singer Steve Goodman ("City of New Orleans", "You never even called me by my name") battled it for 15 yrs. You gotta like a guy who learns he has leukemia, and immediately nicknames himself "Cool Hand Leuk"

Think he was diagnosed in 2009.

He had many great years on Carolla and was truly instrumental in making it a daily delight.
For all of those pissed at Carolla for eventually parting ways with him (at least him being on the show), I will say that for a year or two, Bryan had almost entirely stopped doing "drops"...which he was truly a prodigy at and which made the show great.
There were a solid 5 years where I listened happily to him and his antics every single day on the drive to and from work. Really always seemed like one of the greatest guys in the world.
Really sad when I saw this on Saturday. Has Carolla himself posted yet? I know Lynette and many others have. In 2009, Carolla threw him a celebrity fundraiser.

My favorite thing about Bryan was how he would keep Adam honest with funny retorts.
Once, Adam said the whole school would walk around the halls singing “Ad Carolla” to the rhythm of “My Sharona”.
Bald callled Adam out and asked “was everyone in the school really doing this”. It was fun and lighthearted and made Adam laugh at himself.
Good times, great show. I listened a lot to their pod between 2010-2017!
Lots of laughs with them and Allison and her funny quips.

Hate to hear it. I liked the show best when it was Adam, bald and Teresa strasser.
Listened to Bryan’s book shrinkage when it came out and it was really good. He was originally given 6 months to live and got 18 years. I call that a victory.
Guy was a wizard on the drops and that’s a very niche style of humor that requires quick wit and good memory.
