I wouldn’t really call these ‘fights’ but:

Knocked out a guy on crutches at a dive bar once

Threw a guy through a storefront window (guy was bleeding so bad I thought he was going to die)

Soccer kicked a guy in the head after I had knocked him down with one punch (this was in front of his girlfriend who was screaming bloody murder for me to stop. I didn’t)

Threw a brick at a guys face and it landed flush. Again, thought he was dead but just had a concussion likely.

Punched out a guy in a bar then his girlfriend blindsided me with her purse that felt like it had rocks in it right on the side of my head. I couldn’t walk straight and was hearing a ‘buzzing’ noise for like 30 minutes. It sucked.

Slapped a guy in the face who was blocking the door when I was trying to leave a restaurant . His 4 friends then jumped me and did a pretty good number on me.

Pushed a guy down some metal stairs at the back entrance of a bar. He looked like a stunt man rolling and bouncing down.

Kicked a guy in the nuts as hard as I could because he was too small to fight and that was the only thing I could think of at the time. I left but friends said they ended up having to call an ambulance

Tried to drown a guy in the ocean in Cocoa Beach who attacked my friend. I got nervous when he was turning purple so stopped.

Never really had anything bad happen to me other than getting roughed up a few times. Full disclosure all of these were in the mid to late 1970’s when I was in my 20’s and I was bigger than most folks so I am not sure if I was just a better ‘fighter’ or I just was able to overwhelm people with my size. My friends seemed to think it was just because 99% of the time I was the bigger guy. Maybe some luck was involved also. Who knows.

Killed a guy when I was only 13. Shattered his nose into his brain during a school fight.

A drunk visiting fan told my at the time 7 year old daughter Santa clause was not real. We exchanged words, he took a swing at me which I slipped. I took him down, and held him down with some good old knee on belly while a buddy of mine went to find a cop.

He was flailing around on the ground gasping for air, and frantically trying to get out from under me. I could have really hurt this guy, but instead I just made him miserable, and just held him there until the cop got there. I felt really firm cause the dude was at least 10 years younger, 6 inches taller, and 40 pounds heavier.

Another time when I was in college a dude was hitting on my girlfriend and we got into it. I tried to arm drag him to get around his back and put him in a choke, but I screwed it up pretty and and he hit me in the face twice before someone broke it up. I had a bloody swollen nose and a black eye.

I've legitimately been in zero fist fights

My son is 18 and he, and most of his friends, have never been in a fight. As a parent, I'm glad this is the case, but as a normal Joe, I don't understand how this is possible. Crap talking while playing backyard sports lead to a lot of fist fights. Then puberty and girls lead to a lot more.

Clean, I remember you back in the day when I had a different username. But what you replied sounds exactly like what I’ve done in my life. I just recently had a life changing moment and feel like I figured out life that night. My life has changed completely and I’m sober for the first time in over 20 years and life is looking up.

Good luck in the battle man.

I fought enough in my life. I do everything I can to walk away now.

The last 2 fights I was outnumbered.

New years eve, me and my 3 brothers vs about 30 guys. My brother accidentally walks into the wrong hotel room. Everyone partied at this hotel. One guy pushed my brother out the room and it was on. We got our asses beat that night. We started strong but once we got outnumbered it was game over. I got knocked clean out that night.

Last fight I was in, me and my brother go out in Lafayette for our birthday (twins). He hooks up with a girl from high school and they rent a room. Well she invited 3 other guys to come along but we didn't know about it.

Well I'm getting drunk and my brother won't bring me home because he wants the girl. The guys were from a town next to mine so I asked them if they could bring me home. He says sure.

We walk outside and this punk says I owe him money for weed. We didn't even smoke that night. I said you got the wrong guy. He punches me in the face and I laugh it off. His 2 friends jump on each my shoulder and when my knees hit the ground, he kicked me in the jaw and broke it.

Almost knocked me out but I hurried and got up and I immediately knew it was broken because my mouth was full of blood. When they saw me get up they took off running. If I had been able to get my hands on one of them I would have gone to jail for murder. I sued his arse and collected enough to pay for my jaw being wired.

I was in a lot as a teenager. I probably should have been hospitalized after one, was more than one individual I was fighting with.

My cousin fights at harrah's sometimes, and as I get older I realise I dont want to randomly fight an MMA fighter who has been training for years.

When I was a kid that shite hadnt blown up yet

1992. Kid was a year older than me. Somehow he repeatedly managed to block my punches with his feet.

I was so impressed that a good leg kick has basically been my response to the opening shot ever since.

I got my arse kicked a lot, I was the youngest boy cousin, until I was seven or eight and realized something very important. Most people, no matter how big they are, no matter how strong they are, they have limits. They have lines they won't cross or things they won't do.

If you don't have those lines, you win.

I came to this realization when my cousin, who was 5 years older than me was kicking the crap out of me. Holding me on the ground and repeatedly slapping me in the face. His mistake was to let me up. I threw a handful of dirt into his eyes and an open hand hit into his throat. Before he could recover or grab me, I ran. Never bothered me again.

We're in our mid to late 30s now and saw each other for the first time in a long time for christmas. Happened to be at the house where it happened. We were standing outside and he brought it up in front of his kids laughing. I've got a few inches in height and 100lbs on him these days. He was joking telling his daughter he beat me up. She didn't believe him given the size difference.

So after he has a laugh, I asked if he was gonna tell the conclusion to his son and daughter. His son is a bit younger and a little guy. Gets picked on a bit.

He laughed and says... "The second I let him go, he blinded me, sucker punched me in the throat, and ran off to get me in trouble."

I told his little boy, you haven't lost until you think you've lost.

Looking back, it seems like I got into a lot of fights, but only maybe a dozen or so and over a 12 year period so maybe 1-2 a year average.
Never, ever started a fight, that I can recall.
Got in some faces for shitty things done, but they backed down, so after some arse chewing I didn’t pursue any further - not trying to fight someone that didn’t want to.
Never lost a fight but had some sloppy ones. I humbly attribute a lot of that record to luck/circumstances.
Have gotten hit pretty hard but never dropped or really staggered. I think I may have a really hard head.
I think I may have been pretty gifted at fighting but never had the instilled anger or whatever to want to get into it more than just random run-ins.

Like when you're locked away, and you learn to smear feces on yourself so if it comes to the worst, at least no one will walk away happy. You learn to love that smell.

Then they tell you,.."you're rehabilitated". But everytime you walk into a public bathroom, you immediately fight the absolute bloodlust.

Throw a punch in a football game once because some kid wouldn’t stop swiping at my eyes. That was about as violent as I got.

There are only two correct answers here.

1. I've never been in a fight
2. The first time I fought I got my arse kicked

My first fighting lesson was to never look the dude in the eyes. Sure it sounds "manly" to stare a guy down like in the movies, but he aint gonna hit you with his eyes. If you ever get into it with a guy and his eyes are on your midsection so he can see everything your arms/legs are doing.... he is about to frick you up!

You get an upvote for a decent Hammertime callback. It would have been better if that thread hadn't been bumped recently.

My first real fight was when I was about 10. This guy named Chane Wassanasong had been hitting on my girl Connie. He cornered me and while screaming "That's my purse I don't know you" I kicked him square in the nuts. He went down like a rock, nobody else at Tom Laundry Middle messed with me for a long time.

I was 12 at a baseball camp and this kid named Jimmy kept running his cocksucker so I pushed him over a pile of equipment bags. He got up and tackled me, and then we rolled around like a couple of fruits until some adults broke it up.

Dude was a queer. And his game was arse

I had an older brother growing up so I do not even remember my first fight. I started doing kickboxing and Kav Magra as a hobby last summer. I had my first right fight in a rink last november and I got my arse kicked. I have another fight tomorrow night.

When I was in 5th grade I got punched in the gut for breaking line. When I was in 7th grade I got punched in the face for insulting a fat guy. When i was in 11th grade I got threatened by a football player so I hid in the bathroom all day.
