Last time I passed out in a hammock my wife posted it and ran with it.

Bunch of guys like y’all egging her on to twist me a couple of times.

Then these started coming through.

Haven’t touched a hammock since.

Work occasionally takes me to an ice planet, in which case I'll cut open the belly of a tauntaun and sleep inside.

I bit the bullet and purchased a reverie sleep system. It was a bit pricy but it is by far the best bed I have ever slept on and that includes the sleep number bed.

I slept in a hammock for a couple weeks in Mexico a few years back. It was actually quite nice

What...two completely separate feels and one person having it doesnt mean you will like it. Stop being lazy and go to a store and lay on them. Most review sites are fake at this point besides consumer reporters.

Here's a hint though. Everyone who sells mattresses at a high level sleeps on Tempurpedic. Every major company sells Tempurpedic besides Sleep Number. Sleep number sucks.

The least returned mattress is Tempur.

The least warranted mattress is Tempur

Which means...get a Tempur.

Serta uses cheap foam and its density even at its highest level is not even on par with the mid tier Sealy. Simmons and BR are in bankruptcy overseas right now so stay away from them.

There is a very good reason every majorcompany sells the Tempur-Sealy line. They are substantially better quality.

Bed in a box brands are all bad. You can not make a good, dense mattress with substantial support with vacuum sealed poly foam(which they all use).

If you cant afford to spend 3k+, go for a Sealy Hybrid. Copper 2 or Silver Chill are 1500-2000. If you can not afford that go for a Sealy response line.

My company dropped Simmons and Serta because we have over 30 percent exchanges with both over a 2 year period.

Sealy we had a 16 percent exchange rate
Sterns a 15 percent exchange rate
Tempur a 8 percent exchange rate(only 2 customers in two years changed to a new matt type, the bulk were for firmer or softer).

I can not stress enough knowing every mattress on the market and every part of them that you should lay down on them, and not believe bullshite.

No mattress is unique and a secret bundle of joy for cheap. No mattress under 1k will last 10+ years and stay consistent in how it feels.

No mattress fits all sleepers.

Beauty rest is now the worst major brand on the market. Our returns with them the last 8 months we had them were almost 50 percent. Stay away from their product. Simmons purchased them and ran them into the ground.

Hope this helped. I can promise you. Tempurpedic is the absolute best though. Nothing is comparable. I'll never buy anything that isnt Tempur again.

20 years of sleeping on a sleep number bed says you can frick right off with that opinion. Sleep Number is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever owned. Only downside is it’s ruined my ability to sleep in any other bed.

Since the OP is in Baton Rouge this is the correct answer. After many recommendations, we went to his place to see about it. It's a hideous dump and he will talk your ear off about the virtues and downfalls of mattresses. And he will find out how you sleep, see how big you are, and then build the best mattress you've ever slept on. For a fraction of the price paid elsewhere.

My $4k mattress has been relegated to a guest room. Billy's mattress is The One.
