Or maybe the thought that your wife will literally use this ammo against you for the rest of your marriage.
Not if you did a better job choosing wives.

No matter what you do, your wife will always remember that you were at a bachelor party on her fricking birthday. If you think she won't pull that card in the future is borderline stupid. Women are crazy.
Defintiely chose bad wives, probably 2-3, if not more from the sounds of it.

She's going to pound town for her birthday. You just have to decide who's taking her there.

lemme guess... when you confronted her with this she replied, "it's fine. go."

"no seriously go. Ill just hang out here. Its fine..maybe ill call Hannah. It will be fine"

but i say go, Do something really big the few nights before you leave town. Get her a nice gift. Don't come back with a ton of shame and guilt from the transgressions at said bachelor party. So you can do something sunday.

or if it is a extended weekend thing. Get there early Thursday. Do it big Thursday and Friday. Leave Saturday.

Win/win since you will not be a hung piece of shite at work on Monday.

I've never had a long term relationship with a girl who would have issues with these types of things.

You're in a miserable marriage with a terrible wife. Get out now.

I legit feel bad for dudes that make these posts because they think every marriage is like their own.

I am not sure what to do.

Talk to your wife about it...that's probably what's best.

And, much easier to reschedule a birthday dinner than a bachelor party.

When's the last time you've been on a bachelor party?

It's not legit unless it requires a passport and a weeks vacation from work

Where are yall finding theses infinitely understanding life partners?

Or is this the underground open marriage thing that I've been reading about?

These "understanding" partners don't exist. They are really just people that have given up any hope of salvaging romantic feelings for their partner and they just don't care anymore.

Real love is getting mad at your SO for doing things without you and then making them miserable about their decision for the rest of their natural lives.

You are in a bad position. If you don't take your wife out on her birthday but instead go to the bachelor party, then your wife will never forgive you, regardless of what she says. This is a test of loyalty, my friend. Go to the bachelor party and I guarantee that months or years down the road she'll start an argument about the time you chose to spend her birthday with a stripper instead of her.

By being super picky about the ones you choose to have real relationships with, and the ONE you choose to marry.

I'm a chick. This would not upset me in the least. Of course, my friends fly in from Phoenix for my birthday every year and we make a big weekend out my and another friend's birthday. So, maybe I'm just hoping any future SO will be understanding that he isn't invited to my birthday party.

It's really a test of how high maintenance his wife is. Granted, he should automatically know the answer to this scenario before he married her.

I couldn't stay married without a level headed wife. It works both ways though. She's welcome to take trips with her friends and she does. I stay home with the kids and my favorite 22 year old sitter
