Every time i see a thread like this I think of this.
The mom of a Girl I went to school with died suddenly when we were in 8th grade. My buddy was her BF. He was a bit nervous as we walked to the church together. We get to the front doors, and the girl is standing outside. We talk with her for a sec and it’s awkward AF. I mean, we’re all 12 or 13, nobody knows what to say. So as we’re trying to make the transition from awkward to go inside, he says “so, your mom and all are inside?”. He knew what he said as soon as it came out of his mouth. Will never forget it lol
