Average American Woman Now Weighs Over 168 lbs and stands 5’3”

That’s similar to what the average man weighed in the 1960’s. The average man’s weight has also gone up considerably since the 1960’s. What do you all make of this?? Is America just seriously overweight in general or is this average just skewed by all the poor people with poor nutrition?
Do you expect this trend to level out eventually or just keep on going like this? What can be done to reverse it?

Are your sure 5’3 is average. I would have guessed 5’5 ish. Either way 168 is fat.

Reminds me of an article I read a few years back. Black women really skew the numbers have over a 50% higher obesity rate than white woman do. Gets even worse when you compare morbid obesity.

Yeah I think the Mexicans have a lot to do with the height being so low, and they are also fat. However pretty much all groups of people are getting disturbingly fat and it’s a problem.
I blame corporations who make profits from selling as much cheap shitty food as possible. Also less walking, physical labor, automation of jobs.

I was just in Italy a few weeks back and it was nice to see no fatties on the Amalfi coast. Tons of hot, fit Europeans women in next to nothing. Now I’m in OBA, Jesus Christ some of these people should not be allowed on the beach.
