I'm not accepting that vehicle. Depreciation is bad enough, and now it's wrecked.

Good job not getting involved at all, bad job accepting the delivery. I would’ve called the dealership told him what happened said their vehicle sitting at where it’s at never touched it.

There’s other ones on the market you could’ve gotten somewhere I’m sure

I would call the dealer and tell them you're not accepting the vehicle. The accident causes depreciation that was not part of the deal. Technically it's not yours until you sign for it.

That’s crazy. Pulling a 6k pound vehicle with a 1/2 ton gas burner, not including weight of trailer.

My 2001 Silverado 1500 long bed extra cab would hardly notice a load like that.

Congrats on buying a POS GMC. So…. What was damaged on the GMC? I don’t see where anything could have damaged it. Also, driver has a nice trailer.

When I buy out-of-state, I let the dealer own the shipping, for liability reasons.

If I ship, I use a shipping company, specifically for vehicles, and use enclosed trailers.

I run hotshot trucks that haul vehicles in the mountains of Colorado, I believe that qualifies me to respond to your dumb comment about how your 30 year old truck can pull a house down.

You’d be over heated within 100 miles on the side of road. You don’t have enough low end torque. Yes I’m an a-hole I apologize

It’s pretty common nowadays. There is fewer inventory on lots and the internet makes it easy to shop nationwide. I bought my truck sight unseen from a Wisconsin dealer last summer with no issues. The dealer should have reputable delivery service. Mine did.
