Why would they be running from their utopia to that shitehole state TX

Austin banned single use grocery bags several years ago and its a pain to go grocery shopping.

Is throwing a bag in your trunk and grabbing it before running into the store really that difficult for you? Christ, sometimes people just look for stuff to bitch about.

Not to mention it costs a quarter for a bag at the store so it isn't like you can't get bags at all.

Austin has always been a more liberal city, but used to be a really nice and happy place to live amongst everybody

Austin is about 35% Republican and they are the ones who own and run Austin’s largest businesses and they have the nicest neighborhoods in Austin and the suburbs.

Gotta realize that pretty much every part of the world has its' own Nomadic Culture. Europe has Gypsies, ME has Bedouins, AU has the indigenous peoples, NA had several nomadic Indian tribes, SA has indigenous peoples that never settle permanently, Africa has some wandering natives too, the Mongols in Asia.
A white kid trustafarian on the streets of Austin has zero ancestral ties to any nomadic tribe or culture you stated.

It is funny that people would even equate the two.

“Yea, bruh, we are like totally the same as those groups whose ancestors like roamed around and stuff for thousands of years.”

*injects a little more heroin*

“We are like trying to live off the land and stuff.”

*shits next to a car and then breaks the window to rob it*

I feel a large group of these people have “checked out” of society. For whatever reason they have decided the laws, the economy and the norms of society are not for them

What's funny about that is they still need society to take care of them or they wouldn't survive. You don't see them really checking out and going out in nature and making it on their own, they still need other people to ultimately provide for them

It seems like with a little effort anyone could get a fast food job and even get government assistance to supplement their income to rent an apartment to not live on the fricking street. I wonder what people did in the past to keep the homeless away from cities.

I refuse to live in Austin, live towards Marble Falls for that reason. The mayor waited for Abbot to act cause he and that freak show of a city council didn’t want to appear to be mean . Austin doesn’t have adults running city government ! Thunderbirds manager died from this homeless dude stabbed him during a robbery.
