This. A few of the people involved in this wrote off the bribe as a charitable donation. Aka tax fraud. Not sure if Aunt Becky did this.
The lesson to learn here is if you are going to bribe to get your kid into a private school, you have to pay $500K+ in a contriubtion directly to the school. You can't backdoor your way in by bribing a small sport coach with $50 to $100K.

I mean, they have fought this indictment for how long and made a spectacle out of it...even though everybody knows they are guilty as sin.
