*violated state and federal ethics laws... Not missteps
*Millage
*Chosen by whom? The current elected officials?
*Folks want to have oversight and management.
*She violated ethics laws even the lowest state employee receives YEARLY training on
*Source needed - office expenses are still way overboard. Typically, the highest rated not for profits use 90% of funds for it's cause, not less than 30%
Numbers are off, but here is my source

Our data shows that 7 out of 10 charities we've evaluated spend at least 75% of their budget on the programs and services they exist to provide. And 9 out of 10 spend at least 65%. We believe that those spending less than a third of their budget on program expenses are simply not living up to their missions. Charities demonstrating such gross inefficiency receive 0 points and a 0-star rating for their Financial Health

I never see any white people in the COA pics. Is there a separate one for SBR?
Is Amar a racist? I think yes

Funny how the narrative changed from "she didn't do anything wrong" to "she made some mistakes"
She violated the most basic conflict of interest policy by writing herself into the will of a client.
She also apparently violated the COA's own policy of being compensated for overtime.
Those seem like pretty good reasons to bounce her arse out.

Narrative is always changing with him.
At what point and after how many laws are broken will gravy finally say ok that's enough?

He'll be with her no matter what. She's potentially holding the purse strings of up to $10 million/year that she's going to dole out to her most ardent supporters. His "consulting" business will most certainly be on the payroll.

I wouldn't count it out just yet, but they've got another month before the millage vote at the metro council so hopefully more shite will develop before then.

This story went from, she may be fired to she and others may end up in jail

Talked to a guy privy to the situation last week and he mentioned jail time also.

The organization has been one perpetual clusterfrick since the mid-90s. Why do they still get money?

So Gary acknowledges she made mistakes but still thinks she have been witch hunt. That's fresh.

Because they ostensibly do good things and stay out of the public eye.
They become harder to defend the more the light shines on them and they scurry like roaches at the exposure.

School board members have gone to jail in NOLA for much less but you need Fed involvement because LA politics are to intermingled.
