Wait... so canceling someone who likes to cancel other people is not cancel culture?
Those are some crazy mental gymnastics to rationalize canceling.
Its not cancel culture to cancel something that agrees with cancelation.
Its simply giving them what they want.

Tom Arnold has tapes he is going to release any day for three years now too.
remember how that was going to end Trump? so that should end Kimmel.
Sorry, those are the rules.

And this is why cancel culture exists.
You complain about it when it affects someone you align with, but you let it go when it fricks someone over that you don't like.
You're no different than those you make fun of.
Orrrrrr you see this as a much bigger fight and some left-leaning folks getting "cancelled" may help swing people who stupidly believe everyone getting cancelled genuinely deserved it. It'll take a while, because the initial reaction will be more of the same "wow I can't believe Kimmel, he's not who we thought he was, but I'm still a good white ally!"
In reality, Kimmel is annoying and I don't like him, but he's not a racist or anything akin to a racist.

But if you cancel someone that agrees with canceling, doesn't that mean you agree with canceling, too?

He is one of the main people that aligns himself with the so called "cancel culture." The heat on him over this shite won't be bad at all. I guarantee it.

If they don’t cancel Jimmy than it’s even more blatant this is 100% political.
Why did Papa Johns CEO have to step down after repeating what someone else said as an example of what not to say?

So, I guess he and ABC, or whoever he works for, knew this was about to come out. This, the reason for his extended "summer break".

As much as I want to celebrate this, logic and honesty dictate we not.
Cancellations are not the right way, no matter who they cancel. Jimmy is allowed to be a hypocritical douche as much as anyone else.
I would like the things I prefer to engage and watch, if they aren't intended to be political to not be political. Jimmy, and those like him, need to reset their expectations and their goals and just get back to making people laugh, talking culture and doing their thing. Their "thing" isn't supposed to be political, but they've forced that on everyone and it's wrong.

He used the N word with an “a” at the end. He’s saved to the liberals.

Its just holding people to the standards they place on others.
If you want to cancel anyone for saying the n word then you should be canceled for saying the n word. If you don't want to cancel anyone for saying the n word you shouldn't be canceled for saying the n word.

Remember when Progressives held a Cultural Revolution that began to destroy all of our most cherished traditions, principles, ideals and Institutions and that wasn’t enough so they began to eat each other ? I remember.

I mean, this'll be fun to watch and all. But using it in comic sketches isn't the same thing as whatever they are alleging against Trump.
Not according to lefties. It is NEVER (unless you're a black person) ok to say it.
I don't care one way. Say it, don't say it, but it's funny when one of their own crashes and burns being held to the standards they set. It highlights the hypocrisy of all these people.

No, then that means "you" are holding those standards.
The only way to have a chance at changing Kimmel at this point is to defend him and show HIM that his standards were wrong.

No one should be shocked. Dude has skated for a while with all kinds of “cancel” worthy stuff out there

No it doesn't.
I dont want to cancel him because he said the n word.
I want to cancel him because he believes you should be cancelled for saying the n word.
It is not transferable. I don't believe Joe Blow should be cancelled for saying thw n word.
You see the difference?
