What I think about as I listen to that is the thousands of times she has probably gaslit his arse, insulting him with “ go jerk off Travis “ comments while he tried to steer the conversation somewhere constructive. And even worse, how she used flying monkeys in their personal lives and the press to undermine him and besmirch his reputation in a million different ways. When the Flying Monkeys are weaponized by the narcissistic abuser, that’s when you start feeling hopeless . It’s one thing to have a crazy abusive spouse, quite another to have the people in your life line up to enable them. It’s like being abused over and over again. It’s reputation Destruction as a strategy. That’s what she did to him. This shite is painfully common and it sure as hell ain’t always the woman .

He’s passive, because if he is not, it will become physical, and there are pretty much zero circumstances where this ends up well for the dude. This includes when she is 100% the aggressor. He’s already learned this.
The psycho bitch you hear in that audio will take as many opportunities as she can to call him a pussy, just like you are.
His biggest mistake was not exiting the relationship the instant she displayed any sort of this behavior, but I’m sure the “99% crazy / 1% good” he dealt with at the end was completely flip flopped in the beginning.

What the frick was he supposed to do? At least this way he comes out as the good guy. Johnny played it smart, even if the chick is abusive and crazy as hell the last thing a guy wants to do is put hands on her because after that it's over
