Keating was speechless when reporters approached him as he entered the courthouse and again when he left. His attorney, Brian Capitelli, was asked afterward about other lawyers who could face charges in the case. Federal court documents have only identified them as Attorney A and Attorney B.
"I don't think you have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure this one out," Capitelli said.

This is one of those stories that legit broke on here MONTHS before any media outlet reported on it...and I bet those who did stole the idea from this board.

What about the treating doctors? The scheme doesn't work without them.
I suspect the DISC of LOUISIANA is going to be in deep doo doo! They handled the treatment for the Keating Law firm.

I agree. I don't see how they escape without some sort of black eye/bruise.

This story is a massive let down if the result is a small handful of plaintiffs and plaintiff attorneys are the only ones who go down

What kind of penalty or sentencing will he face?

The guilty plea means Keating could face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the felony conspiracy conviction. Judge Nannette Jolivette Brown is presiding over the case. She scheduled sentencing for Jan. 20, 2022, until which time Keating will remain free on his existing bond.

I am still waiting on the other shoe to drop for the other Canal St. names that have been thrown around on here.

Who are they?

Not only are the doctors going to need to be brought in but also the financing companies that financed all the treatment. The company is doing this financing of fraudulent claims in New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Vegas I was told by an attorney working on the matter. Hopefully many fraudsters will be uncovered and prosecuted!

I wonder if any doctors or chiropractors are implicated too

Will be hard to ever touch the doctors because medical diagnoses are subjective. Plenty of these people have legitimate back, shoulder, neck injuries that show up in imaging that the doctor can say came from the accident. It would be very hard to show their recommendations were fraudulent even if the injuries were pre-existing.

Keating was dumb enough to put the scheme in writing with his slammers so maybe he was dumb enough to text the doctors.

fo fo fo, fo fo fo fo + chiropractic services=old news.

There was no financing. They would receive surgery for phantom injuries to create damages, then demand millions from the insurance company providing coverage for the trucking companies.
I'm sure there's also documentation between the MDs office and the Keating Law firm. This is not over yet.

I don’t know if there was financing with Keating but there are rumors of a puppetmaster in the other suspected stuntwoman fraud case who has a finance company.
