The Migos are terrible rappers. I'm sure you have heard of the term "mumble rap". Well they basically invented mumble rap. They pretty much ushered in a new era of Hip Hop.
They make terrible music with absolutely horrible lyricism with catchy beats and funny ad-libs that gets a lot of play in clubs. You will never see any of them on a list of top rappers.

He’s a way bigger name than those rappers that get famous after death. I heard it was that Quavo (another member of Migos) got in an argument about a dice game at the party and Takeoff got caught in the resulting gunfire. Idk I thought these guys had gotten too big for this shite but I bet Quavo feels like shite right now.

Shite you’re right. I just stumbled upon this and didn’t realize Quavo’s group shot first. It wasn’t Takeoff shooting though, he got hit in the back by his own people apparently and wasn’t even really involved in the argument.
Takeoff was Quavo’s slightly younger nephew.
