Saw someone tweet “this is a cruel world”, seems like a weird application of that. This dude didn’t die of cancer, or some sort of natural disaster. What happened in this story isn’t a “world” issue. He died because a certain segment of society thinks that they need to pull out a gun any time they are disrespected. Maybe she should’ve said, “this is a cruel community”.
