Athletic/ Shorts in general with lining in them

The Lulu Lemon thread has me thinking... with athletic shorts/ PFG's / shorts with liners in them, do you cut the liner out or free ball with the liner still in tact?

I've never worn shorts with a liner, so I can't make a call on this one, but when I have tried wearing boxer briefs, they bothered me all day. So based on this, I would have to say I would cut them out, or better yet, just not buy them.

Athletic shorts with the traditional mesh liners (like swimsuits, a lot of older running shorts, etc.) get cut out
Athletic shorts with compression/boxer brief type liners get to stay (like lulu or birdogs)

I cut the liner out of swimsuits.
I cut the liner out of running shorts. I still wear compression underwear. I find them more comfortable than the liners.

I enjoy my dry fit athletic thong. Supports my boys and gives me the freedom and airy feel all at the same time.

Liner doesnt have nearly enough support
Also, on that note, I have no idea how men wear boxers. I have to wear tight underwear or my nuts will be killing me by the end of the day

Legends is another good brand that has compression boxer brief liners.
