Are you looking then for some assurance?
Given no information on your height or weight I feel safe to assume that the number is about 90% of your current waist measurement!

BMI is BS. I have a stocky build but I'm definitely not fat. I inherited my dad's rugby-style frame but going off BMI only, I'm considered overweight. My waist size is 32".

BMI is just a general predictor based on height and weight, and for the majority of the population that doesn't have a wide frame it's accurate. Not sure what's so hard to understand about that lol

My abs show and I wear a 36 (probably a 35 if I could find them). It's really just dependent on your frame. If your belly fat hangs over, you're not at optimal weight and could be healthier.

If you can stand up straight, look down, and see your dick, you're good.

I'm 6'5, 240, 38 waist.

Not fat, but scaring away girls.

Gotta get to 220 and a 34-36 waist.

It really matters what your body type is. If you're an ectomorph, then a 34 is probably fat. But if you're an endomorph, you can have a 34 waist and not really be fat.

Someone mentioned earlier, but I don't skip leg day and my legs can't fit into a 34 so I have to wear a 36.

5'9 though :( 29" length pants.

Also anyone have a broad chest and can't wear some of the shirt they make now a days?

I literally have to try on everything.

I'm 6' 1 and have been wearing a 36 for the last 18 years. My weight varies from 205 to 210. Less than that in the summer and a tad more during Gumbo season.

Your height to weight ratio is fine actually. What you should do is work on your lats, chest and obliques. Pull ups, push ups and twisting planks would do the trick. They will make your back and chest bigger while shrinking your waist a bit too.

I think BMI is bullshite. In high school they calipered us for body fat. My BMI said I was fat, my measurements said I was 8% body fat.
