He really should round up all of the feral kittens in the area and bring them in also. Kittens of any sort should never be in cold weather...ever! Also, please get all of the stray dogs a warm place to stay. They will not be able to survive in 13 degree weather.

Also, these stray animals do freeze to death in weather like this. Pretty regularly.

The pounds and shelters go into overtime looking for them to save them when the temps drop this low.

So I'm not sure what you're trying to convey with that comment, besides showing how stupid you are.

yo sho is angry. Sorry your days are spent at little league games and pissing away money on travel ball, while some of us put our pets in their kennel(or on the sofa) and do what we want- spending the money on ourselves.

I don’t bring animals inside under any circumstances. God put fur on ‘em for a reason.

One of the more dumbest posts I've seen on this board.

Gotta love the projection of insecurities here.

I am planning to have kids and dogs...I can do both

I am one of 4 kids and we had a golden retriever growing up that always got on furniture and slept on the foot of my bed.

That apparently makes me a giant pussy

Please explain to us unawares how dogs evolved by living in heated homes again.

Then you shouldn't own domesticated pets if you're putting yourself into an absolute corner like that.

I hate irresponsible owners that put convienence above pets safety.

i guarantee you if I took my lab to the pond this morning, he would have barreled in without a 2nd thought

My Lab/Brittany Spaniel mix is constantly hanging around our back door whining to go outside. She'll just go lay in the grass when it's 25 outside. We do not and I would not leave her out there for a long time, but I don't think she'd have an issue with it. She's definitely been willing to plow through ponds in the 30's.

Lol at all these suburbanite dorks freaking out about leaving hunting dogs outside. You wouldn't think this is a Louisiana based message board.

Think I heard my sister in law wants to do a photo shoot with their new baby and their border collie. I'm looking forward to see how that turns out.

Cant wait to babysit them both.

Says the pussy who thinks the authorities should be notified to put the OP in jail. You used to be a pretty reasonable guy but have turned into a lite progressive the last couple of months.

Cocker spaniels are not built to live in sub-15 degree weather for days at a time.

That's just a fact.

true some dogs are. But you can provide them with shelter. My labs have been outside all week. They seem to be enjoying it.

My Frenchie and Rhodesian are sleeping on the sofa. They definitely aint enjoying the weather. They are enjoying the ambient 70F house temp.

Dogs and cats descended from wild animals and have adapted to their environment over the course of time, dumbass. I take my pets to the vet and provide food, water, and shelter so don’t suggest I am an “irresponsible” pet owner because I don’t want animal hair all over my house or my furniture destroyed.

My lab, after spending the night in 13 deg weather, busted thru 1" thick ice retrieving ducks this morning. And when we were packing up to leave he did another swim in the pond just because he liked it so much. You people are clueless about animals.

He didn't have a heating source or shelter to trap the heat? He didn't have something like a bed or blanket to sleep on?

Also, labs =/= cocker spaniels.
