I was over 19 when emojis first appeared. Should I have never used them?

Use daily. It breaks up boring message as an emoji is worth 350 words.

Grown men should not use emojis. Period.
Also, FWIW, I’ve had several female friends tell me they’ve immediately friend zoned guys they were initially interested in when they realized he routinely included emojis in texts.

I would rather emoji use to be expanded. Outlook/Gmail need to add a "reaction" function. So many times, I wish I could hit a "thumbs up" button to let someone know I received/read their email instead of replying "okay".

Always hated the standard ones since AIM by in the 00's. Never used them then, don't plan to ever use them either.

It's not based off your age it's based off the audience

Professional setting: never use, or rarely.
Casual setting: sure somewhat but don’t be overboard.

I don't know where I fall on emojis, but one of my biggest pet peeves is grown men who say "lol" in texts or emails. It makes me cringe every single time.

Myself and another "young" coworker use them in the office group chat to get the old farts riled up.

James Carville would fire any emoji-using staffer on the spot.
I like that idea.
