I am, if they would learn to shoot, and always know what is beyond the intended target there would be fewer of these tragic situations, if adults want to kill each other fine, it’s not like we are losing people that contribute positively to the community.

More than 6 but what's your point and what does it have to do with gun violence?

People should be protesting people who don't raise their kids to value life.

Ban guns

Guns don't cause the problem, a lack of good upbringing causes it.

Knives kill too if that's what someone wants to do.

I merely copied and pasted the title of the article as the thread title.

According to the CDC only 15 children between the ages of 0 - 4 have died as the result of COVID-19 from Feb 1 - July 1. 29 deaths 14 and under in the same time period.

The Chicago Sun Times reports 10 children under the age of 18 have been killed as a result of gun violence since June 20th.

I don’t have the time or patience to round up the data for this for the same time period as the COVID statistics above or narrow it down to true innocent victims (probably 10 and under) but if I had to guess it’s at least 100 innocent black children killed by gun violence in Chicago alone.

His point is as with COVID, the same for BLM. Each “movement” has nothing to do with preserving actual life, rather to gain power and push a certain narrative that benefits their personal political belief system.

Professional athletes should say their names as well.

Only if the perpetrator, had he tried to resist arrest, or shoot at the arresting officers, been shot and killed, would there have been a new name to “honor “ by the nba or nfl

The new normal.

Don’t demoralize the only people willing to come into your community and risk their lives to make yours safe.

Law and order is important. These deaths are a result of the abandonment of that concept.

That is sickening. But it goes to show how fricked up the white liberal brain actually is. Liberals are trash and should be deported.

I'm trying to find the thread where the last words of one of these children was "ow,ow,ow".

Thanks in advance.

Covid is a virus that doesn't care about political affiliations or child rearing and has absolutely nothing to do with senseless violence. It is not a movement and neither is shooting people due to poor upbringing.

Trying to equate the two is a political movement.

I thought black lives mattered. Where’s the outrage

Don’t have whitey to blame here. Hard to get behind the BLM movement when they don’t address the current Black on Black killing sprees. However, we as white people are genuinely concerned about these kids dying in the streets.
Prove me wrong that currently the white community is genuinely more concerned for the black communities than blacks.

Secoriea Turner, 8, Atlanta

In Atlanta, eight-year-old Secoriea Turner, was sitting in a car with her mother and another adult when gunshots rang out Saturday night on University Ave SW near I-75/85 Saturday night.

As the driver tried to pull into a parking lot on Pryor Road, near where Rayshard Brooks died at the hands of police, someone opened fire on the vehicle, police said.

Secoriea Turner was sitting in the car when she was fatally shot in Atlanta.

Someone had placed illegal barricades in the area, according to police.

Ok. Let me try this from a different angle.

Is COVID-19 a real thing that has killed 100,000 people? Yes.

Is it deadlier than your normal run of the mill influenza? Yes slightly, but not orders of magnitude higher.

Does it kill 25% of the people that catch it? No.

Is the media treating is as if it kills 1/4? Pretty much, yeah.

Is the killing of unarmed black men by police a bad thing? Yes.

Are more black men killed by police than white men? No, but arguing as a % total of the population, yes black men are killed at a higher per race/capita than white men.

Does the media as a whole/BLM treat the killing of black men by white police officers as a reckless pandemic stirred on by systemic racism and is one of the most important issues in American society today? Unquestionably.

Does the number of murdered black men and women by black men and women outnumber police killings 1000 fold? I don’t know the exact number but I’m willing to bet so.

Does BLM or the media acknowledge any of the deaths from the previous question? BLM, never. The media, as a weekend tally. It may as well be this weekends lotto numbers.

A black woman was being interviewed about these poor kids being murdered tonight, and Fox showed all their pictures, and she proceeds to say we need to stop focusing on black on black crime because white on white crime is worse. I’m still laughing at her stupidity.

Black Lives matter only at the hands of whites people. Much easier to point fingers at isolated instances of racism for attention than it is at changing the community as a whole.

I wish we could get enough people to tweet this article to famous athletes and BLM protesters, and watch their hypocrisy get put on full display when they don't respond or brush it off.

Not when you factor in total interactions with police as a percentage
