Has anyone made switch over to Verizon from AT & T? If so, how was it? Was it worth it ? Would you do it again?
These new iPhone 15 and Apple TV give aways are tempting.

Depends on where you live. In LA, ATT coverage is overall better. Customer service arse for both of them

Nothing beats good coverage. I've never had a problem with AT&T.

I left AT&T for Consumer Cellular.
$61 a month, unlimited with two phones.
ATT and TMobile towers.
Was paying $170 with ATT.

Verizon was great for us for years, but this year for some reason it turned to arse. We swapped to ATT and things are much better, but ymmv.

Tmobile is cheaper and better customer service, less coverage.
Verizon and ATT are more expensive and worst service, better coverage.
You choose.

I left AT&T for Verizon a couple years ago. Been great until recently. Ordered a new phone from Verizon. 3 weeks later and I still don’t have a phone. I talked to so many people at Verizon and every one of them told me they fixed my issue and I would have a new phone in 24-48 hours. Never would receive one. Would call talk to a new person and same thing.
I finally lost it on someone and said I wasn’t getting off the phone until something was done. The guy said you can pick it up at a Verizon store today. He said he would fix it where I could. Went to the Verizon store which was about 30 minutes away and the dude had set up an order to ship from California to Alabama. Nobody could say why he told me to go to the store same day but they did see where he scheduled something same day.
Got the phone and now my phone bill is so screwed up I can’t tell what they done. They said it would work itself out but to me it looks like my bill went up $40 a month when it wasn’t supposed to go up any. I don’t know what I’m going to do now. I’m thinking about switching back or something. I can’t deal with their incompetence.

I think Verizon is generally better. In some pockets AT&T is better.
That said I’m pretty sure AT&T is funded by government research grants to learn how horrible customer service has to be before people stop paying for something.

I just signed up to Charity Mobile on one of my phones. They use Verizon network.
Transition went pretty good except the ATT rep lied to me. He said nothing would affect the transition of my number which is the main number on the account. Of course now my wife can't sign in to the account on line without jumping through a couple of hoops.
I hadnt noticed any issues with connectivity yet but going to the Verizon network was my biggest concern.

Consumer cellular. Switched from AT&T a year ago. Three phones $80 unlimited everything and costumer service is easy to reach and very helpful.

Here’s a post I made a couple days ago…
We’ve had no issues with Verizon so far.

Had AT&T for years and during the aftermath from Hurricane Ida, the service just completely crapped out for about 2 weeks. A tree had fallen across my dead end street and a power pole fell across my driveway, completely trapping us in. Only way we could communicate with the outside world to let family know our situation and that we were fine is using my work IPad for internet and to make calls, which was connected to Verizon. We dropped AT&T shortly after and switched to Verizon.
