Ummm

Are there equal reactions in space?

Newtons law is applied to gravity

Does "what goes up must come down" apply outside if gravity?

Now let's talk about G force outside of gravity, professor.

Oh, what's that G stand for?

Either this is an elaborate troll, or you’re pretty dumb.

No, that's just relative to the earth but our solar system is also hauling arse through space so it's technically faster than that. Hell, I'm hauling arse through space as I type this.

astronauts are typically tethered to the ISS during spacewalks

Does this mean sometimes they aren't tethered?

That seems... not smart.

No, it is just traveling fast enough to escape the force pulling it back down to earth.

Some people in this very thread do not have a clue about this.
They believe that an object is unaffected by the force of gravity simply because it is in the vacuum of space and not that it’s traveling at 17,500 mph around the earth - the speed needed to keep it from falling to the earth. And they are SO dumb they want to argue about it.

People really are amazing.

And I’m moving 17,500 mph relative to the ISS when I step outside.

with minimal external forces acting on them,

Negligible air , but there is a huge external force called gravity that keeps them from flying out and away from the earth.

This is clearly what I would call a “2 gummy minimum” thread.

Are you suggesting the entire galaxy is spinning and the earth is spinning inside that?

Now we can explain global warming.

You just became the next Bill Gates

After investigating, I'm pretty confident it's not this.

I doubt you do much investigating

I'm a person that believes in questioning everything

Do I know for a fact the shape of the earth? no I don't, neither do you.

It's not flat, it's not round because round can be flat. Is it a sphere, probably.

The problem with people like the OP and yourself is you believe the "educated" are 100% correct.

Problem is those same "educators" duped purple haired people into paying 100k for an art degree and told them boys could get pregnant.

Question everything

That's like you saying you were worried that when you lifted the sheets off your bed this AM, you were afraid you might fly up to the ceiling and get stuck there, 'cause maybe gravity would fail.

I'm glad I didn't read this until just now. I just made the bed and it could have been me.

Besides yourself, do you recommend any uneducated people I can listen to regarding astronomy and physics?

So you believe that the forces on an object in a weightless environment (or in “space”) act differently than the forces on an object otherwise.

That's not what the OP is saying.

This explains why if there is a truck driving 75 mph on the interstate and there is a monkey in the back, if he jumps straight up in the air he will land in the same place.

I understand the point you're trying to make but I don't like the example. I feel like the Earth being a close but quite quire perfect sphere is as about as close to "settled science" as exists. People who legitimately question that are about as fringe as it gets
