There are pedos in every denomination. Because they purposely seek out positions above reproach with access to children. Same reason they become scout leaders and teachers.

Yep. Pedos seek out situations where they can be alone with children. People should be always vigilant with who is around their kids.
It's also a large reasons why EVERYONE should oppose this trans crap. The people pushing it on kids are pedos.

Baptist have local control and lack a hierarchy to cover up such things. suspect in the sixties a preacher in a southern baptist church caught abusing children would likely fear for his life. Preachers caught in affairs with women were routinely run off by local deacons.
Phillip Hannan came to New Orleans as bishop from Baltimore. I always admired him. He was a priest at the battle of the bulge and officiated JFK’s funeral. I hope there is nothing to indicate he was involved in the cover ups.

Why not just let them have normal lives with dating, marriage, etc.? In the current situation, the Church is just asking for repressed weirdos to join the clergy.

Exactly. There’s a system in place going back hundreds of years to cover up sex crimes in the Catholic Church.

Religion is not needed to understand that there is a God how so many catholics follow this ridiculous bunch of people amazes me. I called BS at the age of 12 after growing up southern baptist and hearing about hell fire and all this other nonsense. Bottom line we are animals and keeping a doctrine where men are not allowed to marry, etc. is nonsense.
