re: Assuming that the "Q" in LGBTQ is for "Queer", isn't that being redundant?

I don't exactly know the difference but they differentiate gay and queer. I think they use queer to identify as 'abnormal'.

You're seriously shocked that some people don't give a frick about sex?

I thought the B stood for those who frequent prostitutes, you know, buy-sexual.

Asexual - not interested in sex in any way, shape or form. Think Tim Tebow.
Intersexed - having been born with the genitals of both sexes. Replaced hermaphrodite.

If you need quick answers for the LGBTQABC then post it on the Aggie board. Those "men" will be happy to help out.

Why would asexual need to be included.

There's a difference between saving one's self, and not being interested.

Just looked up intersex
They have non-ordinary DNA or genitals.
Alas, what a hand to be dealt.
I once saw a stunning beauty on a dating site. She was a hermaphrodite. Intersexed.
Had cock, balls and vagina.

Essentially, LGBTQIA is a political group that advocates for queer folk. While asexuals may be the tiniest natural sexual variation, they nevertheless face discrimination in societies that pressure people to mate and have children.

The older a person who is "saving one's self" becomes, the more likely he is asexual.

Should be posted on every LGBTQ outlet until they are at each other’s throats over changing the acronym. The more ridiculous it becomes who knows maybe some queers become enlightened to how egregious all this political correctness is.

I see where you're coming from with that, but the acronym is for sexual preference. Asexual means they aren't interested in sex. Seems like that would exclude them.

LGBTQIA is not a true acronym. Nor is it exclusive to sexual orientation. Rather, it advocates for those people who are subject to prejudice because of sexual differences. Because asexuals are subject to discrimination because they don't have or want sex, they are included.

Honestly, the first time I heard Q was during the presidential debate when Trump said it then repeated and emphasized it. Had never heard it before
