Being about 5 decades removed from Jim Crowe, black wealth is still in its infancy despite have one of the greatest purchasing powers in the world. If black purchasing power is ranked at 15th if it was a nation. Denial of home ownership and business created a gap in generational wealth among blacks. We are just now starting to see an upward trend in generational black wealth.
