Can you tell who is Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc by looks only?

I dated a Korean who said Koreans have rounder eyes than the other Asians. That's all I got.

I’m pretty sure if you don’t try to be deceptive with me that I could pass that test. Just be straight forward and not stereotypical, then I think I could get at least 9 out of 10. I’d be shocked if I missed on a single Korean since they’re the most obvious.

In my experience, koreans have bigger heads and different eyes.

The languages all definitely sound different. If they talked for a bit, I could tell the difference

I could probably tell some Thai and Filipino apart from some Asians but not consistently enough

I think the better comparison would be if you could tell the difference between an Irishman, a Scotsman, a German, and a Slav. England and France save for the teeth is pretty much the same thing, but the Japanese and Koreans are very different. As for my test I stated earlier, I think most Europeans and Americans could pass that test.

I have trouble with those from Laos, but I can usually identify the basic country. It’s really not like Germany vs English. More like Italy vs Scandinavia countries.

In BR, if you see them at the nail shop or in the pharmacy dept at CVS/Walgreens, then 100% they're Vietnamese.
At the chinese buffet = Chinese.
Math/Econ/Chem professor at LSU = Chinese
Mechanic/Body shop in BR = Vietnamese
At the casino = Vietnamese
Girl dating a brotha = Chinese
Girl dating a white male = Vietnamese
That's all I got. I don't think we have too may Japs in BR.

Thais and Filipinos have darker skins than the others.
Chinese and Koreans are the hardest imo.

I have gotten pretty good at it but that’s only because I travel to those areas a couple times a year
