Incredible. No mention of a loan or lending or even terms of paying back said loan.
Olin Berthelot makes the official deadline for Lawson to withdraw very clear.
Matassa is inexplicably present at the "loan" and on tape, confirmed by his own attorney, saying "Money talks and everything else walks."
Lawson is given an affidavit at the time of the "loan" asking him to drop out of the race.

Matassa's attorney had that stat loaded and ready to go.
Olin runs a business that gives out loans, but what is Matassa's connection or reason being there? Not mention the affidavit and making it clear to Lawson that this had to be done before the race withdrawal deadline.

Olin Berthelot has probably loaned this guy money before through his Bayou Finance company, so they will have a paper trail on that to fall back on. Trust me there are ALOT of shady deals going down at Bayou Finance

He might have grown up there, but spent all his adult life entrenched in the St. Amant area as did his siblings.

Then why did St. Amant not vote for either of his endorsed successors this go around? The St. Amant people may like him personally, but they haven't been his base of support, Donaldsonville has.

Yes it is. Chase Melancon is my cousin and he is on this like flies on shite.
