Nobody. I've tried, doesn't work. Your S/O tells you she wants you to be vulnerable. Maybe she even thinks she believes it. But she doesn't. really. She wants you to be strong and supportive of her emotional needs. But she wants you to man up and deal with your own shite yourself. She may give you 5 minutes of sympathy here and there but let it go on too long and she'll see you as weak. She may not realize she's doing it herself, but that's how her brain is wired.

My bartender

Like others have said God or my dog anyone else will use it as a weapon against you. Never expose your weaknesses.

Brother and a couple of friends occasionally, but for the most part, have a couple of drinks, get a little sleep and get back after it the morning.

If you're in my inner circle and you're stranded on a raft in the middle of the pacific, I'm coming. If I'm the one on the raft, no one's coming. That's how I look at it. I have only me to count on. And that's fine.
