he's apparently getting surgeries to fix his nose but goddamn, its presently shockingly bad.
As a howard fan, I'd love for artie to come in and do an interview, laugh about his fricked up nose. Apparently he's clean but he looks rough for sure.

I’d heard surgery wasn’t a good option because 1) he’s just likely to keep using via any repaired, functional, semblance of a nose. And 2) because post surgery medication and constantly relapsing opioid addicts aren’t a good combo.
It’s remarkable to me how he is still alive. He’s been fat most of his life and he’s been a hard drug addict for 25 years. His heart must be made of blue steel.
His face is a perfect example of why it’s so hard to get clean. He continued to use a drug that was visibly eating away his face from the inside — the fact that his nose was collapsing wasn’t enough to make him quit snorting that drug. That’s how hard that stuff grips people. It’s so fricked up.
Feel for him but mostly just amazed he didn’t die 8 years ago.
