That's a classic harelip that should have been reconstructed in childhood. The fact that it wasn't bespeaks a background of poverty.

For a federal sentence, there is no parole. He can earn good time credit of up to 47 days per year, so he will serve more than 8 years before he gets out. Might get to spend time in a half-way house during the last several months.

I have a lawyer friend in northern Arkansas who says this guy spends much of his time in a straitjacket since the indictment. A long eight years.
