I personally would put my foot down against my kids being indoctrinated with absolute complete nonsense but that's just me.

No science has ever stated God does not exist, because you can't prove the nonexistence of something.

I do think The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here was the best of the post-Layne Staley Alice in Chains albums.

do the people who attend this attraction also read scientific articles about DNA? Neanderthal dna in Europeans. Denisovan in the Philippines and Papua New Guinea?

Not declaring to be a young-earther or old-earther, but the DNA argument works just as well for an intelligent designer as it does for random evolution.

Now, there is likely some credence to massive flood theories but a 300 year old dude didn’t build a wooden cruise ship and fill it with a million animals

Well if you're gonna make fun of it at least get the facts straight.

Noah was 600 when the flood occurred making him around 500 when he started building the ark. And two of each "kind" of land animals and birds equates to Probably 10,000 or less.

The boat itself has been something that folks have speculated about for a long time. I recall back in the 70s and 80s it seemed one of the 20/20, 60 minutes, and various other shows would do some special on the biblical dimensions of the ark given and have Naval architects discussing the seaworthiness etc. The conclusion was always the same, the boat's dimensions are surprisingly close to large freight liners, and would be a very stable vessel.

While I have no desire to go there as a destination, I would find it interesting to visit if it was nearby a place I was staying. Whatever else it is, it is an interesting piece of construction.

Did you go to the site and check it out? They have vignettes with dinosaurs on the ark. The point is that fricking dinosaurs and people didn't co-exist.

I suppose I can take my kids here, and then to Scientology HQ to learn about aliens? Then off to Utah to learn about Jesus swimming in the Salt Lake?

I had a coworker take over a week of vacation to go there and to some nearby creationism museum. Keep in mind this guy is pentecostal and has shown multiple coworkers videos of him speaking in tongues at his church.

He comes back and is showing pictures on his phone of the Ark place. The one that stuck with me was his pictures of Noah's bedroom area on the boat and he goes "I think it's really cool how even though they were married Noah and his wife slept in separate beds. This one was Noah's and this one was his wife's."

I just couldn't get past the fact that here's a 40 yr old man with children who's talking about this like it's 100% historically accurate recreation. Like even if you believe the biblical flood really happened and a man named Noah really built a giant Ark that saved humanity and the animals, that's fine I won't argue with you, but what tf do you think that they made diagrams and documents that have survived to the modern day?

At a time when then mean age of death was around 35, and 60 would have been a lucky person.

He is likely referring to the Paluxy River "footprints" which have been thoroughly debunked and even abandoned as "evidence" by most Creationist groups.
