To answer your question from someone with some years on them. Young person just what parents said. Went off to college and it was my own. However as I got older and had children I realized my views and beliefs were more in line with my parents.

Now here is the deal and I don’t know how old you are but my dad has been dead for thirty years and he gets smarter everyday. Everyday even at 58 I say dang that old man was right all along.
