Yes, I think teenagers and even the younger college kids, for the most part, repeat what they have heard or was taught.. But as you get older and experience your own life, your views change. Some people are stuck when it comes to their views. 

I don't have the same views today that I had 10 years ago and I am sure 10 years from now my views will evolve from where they are today. But sometimes I think back to views I used to have and I question why I had those views and why or when my views on particular issues changed. And I realize some views I had were based on the people I was around or what I thought was the "norm" to believe.
