How do you sterilize your clothes?
I have an aerosaler filled with alchohol that I spray over myself.
Then I leave my shoes in the mudroom.
I also bring wipes and clean any surface I touch. Gas pumps, door handles. I watched a whole bunch of Monk and just copy him.

Just curious since this thing is nothing more than a mild flu.
When's the last time a mild flu filled the hospitals....1918??
No actually it was the 2019-2020 flu season.

Are the hospitals full? Because New Orleans, the COVID hot spot in the nation two weeks ago, built a 2,000 bed emergency hospital in the Convention Center (for $33 million dollars). Total number of patients? 32 - THIRTY TWO! And those weren’t even active patients. They were hospital releases who needed some place to quarantine for 14 days.

They literally built overflow hospitals and are using ships all over the country. Now we haven't needed all the extra beds but they don't do that for the flu.

Filled at one time. No
My hospital was filled to max capacity earlier this year during the peak flu season. During the covid-19 crisis we have been less than 50% capacity the entire time.

So the hospitals haven't been filled. That's what I thought. Thanks.

Not that it could be proven but I would never forgive myself if my dumbass did not wear one and ended up infecting someone else, even you dumbass, smartass, know-it-all tough guys on here who claim not to be worried.
Call my beta or whatever it is y'all say but I can probably kick the shite out of over half of you youngsters on here and would if need be.

They built hospitals based on projections from models that overestimated the impact of covid-19. I am not complaining because they used the best data they had at the time and it is better to have and not need than to need and not have, but I wish they would have done that earlier this year for the flu. There were many days during flu season this year where we had patients with the flu that needed to be admitted to the hospital for acute exacerbations of chronic conditions like CHF sitting in the ER for hours because we literally had no rooms available in the hospital. We were seeing non-flu patients in the hallways and the disaster response areas because there were not enough ER rooms because we were having to keep the pending flu admits waiting in the ER rooms to minimize the chance of them spreading the flu to patients in the ER. So if you think that flu does not cause hospitals to be filled up you are horribly mistaken.
Also one of the main reasons why we were concerned about the hospitals being overwhelmed at the start of the covid-19 outbreak is because it was hitting during the middle of flu seasons when hospitals were already operating at close to max capacity.

This is a national emergency. We need to show solidarity and a little bit of that good old team spirit. Wear a F’ing mask and get with the program. Or...let me guess, you were the guy who didn’t put out in drills or hussle with the team but got pissed when you didn’t start. Pop

Flu shots are hit and miss. That's a crap shoot.

Masks don’t block covid from penetrating them. They simply keep you from touching your face. Your wearing a mask doesn’t increase or decrease anyone’s chances of getting sick, other than your own.

A mask blocks large droplets from coughing and/or sneezing. There's speculation and possibility of aerosol infecting others but the primary form of transfer seems to be large droplets while people are near each other for extended periods of time.
