I noped out of that video with a quickness right before it looked like he was about to have his leg snapped in multiple places. Did it go as bad as it was looking?

One of the funniest things I ever saw in a shop was when one of the guys tried to drill a piece of 1/2 in thick steel with a large hand held 1/2 in drill.
Dummy didn't drill a smaller pilot hole to make it easier and went straight for the 1/2 in diameter drill bit and it bit into the steel stopping the drill bit in its tracks.
The drill kept turning because he locked down the trigger like a dummy. It spun him around twice and spit him on the floor, twisted up the electric cord around the drill and eventually pulled it out of the wall socket. And the guy on the drill wasn't small with him being in the 250 lb. range.
Got to respect power tools or they can do serious damage.

I did something similar in Jr high as at that age we all did stupid shite to prove how macho we were.
Mine was a bet I could hold a prop on a trolling motor still with one hand. Made it to 4th gear. Still have scars from when it switched to 5th
