Are you seeing fewer $10 bills than you used to?

None of the ATM’s here distribute them AFAIK, and I have also on numerous occasions been given change with $5 bills in stores. Some stores will be completely out of tens.
Just wondering how widespread this is.

Saw a whole bunch stuffed in your mom’s mattress last night. Am I doing it right?

I haven't used cash in 2+ years so I haven't seen any. I especially enjoy not dealing with coins.

Never seen an ATM put out anything but 20's. But yes 10 dollar bills are not as common.

The $20 and the $1 are the small bills Americans really use. The percentage of $10 bills among all circulating currency has declined significantly in the last 20 years, from 8.75% to about 5.3% of total volume.

No clue. I’ve been spending hundreds since they had small faces.

My bank's ATM gives 10s if you choose a number where they're needed.
For the OP - the $10 bill and $50 bill are the two lowest number of bills in circulation (besides the $2 bill). There have been less of those as long as I can remember.

I took out like 200 bucks in cash like 2 months ago for St. Paddys and whats left has just been sitting in my console cause its too inconvenient to use.

When I was at LSU someone mixed up the $20s and $10s in the Atm at the Union. There was a line about 20 deep withdrawing $10 at a time

Is your name Alexander Hamilton? Because you’re a 10.

Literally all I get when I request cash back from Target.

They're putting a woman on the 10 dollar bill in 2020, so doubtful they're printing new ones right now.
