The topic came up because my sister is close to 6' and my BIL is like 5'-9.5". He's hoping their three young sons pick up some height from mama's side of the family tree. If the study he read is accurate, statistically his boys will more than likely be 6' or over.

I'm about 5 inches taller than my dad. He's about 5'10" and I'm about 6'3". I passed him up in height when I was 13 or 14.

My dad is 6'2" I'm 5'8", I took after my moms side of the family they are Irish descent. None of my uncles are taller than me. My son is 11 and he's 5'4". My dads side of the family are tall one uncle is 6'6"
